Tier One Tickets for Bonnaroo Already Sold Out?!
Craziness! The lineup for Bonnaroo 2009 hasn’t even been announced yet and people are scrambling for Bonnaroo festival tickets, so much so that Tier 1 tickets on their main website are already sold out…WHAT?! I have taken the liberty to find some other sweet websites worth a go and most of their prices don’t change. It seems like they’re typically cheaper than other ticket sellers of the same caliber (which in my opinion is totally rad.)
Last year’s headliners, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Jack Johnson, WSP and Kanye brought in a mountain of hipsters, hippies and everything in between, and that’s the beauty of a festival like Bonnaroo. Bonnaroo tickets guarantee a lineup as eclectic as the melting pot of festival goers attending this awesome event.
So, if you’re looking for a way to buy Bonnaroo tickets without the random price changes, hit up a website like this, I got my 2007 Bonnaroo tickets here and I’m sure you’ll be as satisfied as I was! If you’re a little weary, check out ticketbrokerratings.com, they break each popular ticket website down for you according to customer satisfaction- it made me feel a lot more confident in my Bonnaroo ticket experience.

Who will be on the bill this year?
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take part in the 2008 Bonnaroo experience and I’m really curious as to who they’re going to put on the bill this year. I was fortunate enough to land myself some Bonnaroo tickets and make the trek down to Manchester for Bonnaroo 2006 with headliner Radiohead (and I got to see Phil Lesh, Tom Petty and an Oysterhead reunion with Trey Anastasio) and Bonnaroo 2007 with The Police, WSP and The Flaming Lips headlining. To read about my personal experiences with Bonnaroo, head on over to the My Bonnaroo page.
This year’s Bonnaroo promises to be bigger and better than year’s past, this has sent fans in a frenzy of debates as to whether Bonnaroo has changed for the better or for the worse. When I first got my Bonnaroo ticket I didn’t know what to expect, what I experienced was something otherworldly. Even odd performer Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips said “I like Coachella and Lollapallooza, but as far as the magnitude and the weirdness, Bonnaroo is the one.”
In my opinion, everything is a progression, otherwise things tend to die off so I’m expecting this year’s Bonnaroo to be a fantastic experience this year. Who do you think will be on the bill? My guess is Phish considering that there are some pretty reputable rumors floating around about a full fledged tour after their Hampton festival bout (but don’t quote me on that!). Put up your predictions below!

If that tan from last year’s Bonnaroo is still displaying proudly, you’ll have to get your sunblock ready because the Holiday Pre-Sale is now in effect for Bonnaroo 2009! Although the lineup hasn’t been announced, this year promises to have an eclectic mix of performers, comedians. cinema and art installations.
As a two year veteran of the Bonnaroo music festival (2006 and 2007), I can tell you that Bonnaroo has definitely morphed over the years. Some people denounced the progression of Roo as soon as MTV pushed it’s way onto the scene, others are reaping the benefits of larger sponsorship and love the change, either way, if you’ve never been to Bonnaroo throw that on your list of things to do before you die!
This years festival is, once again, during one of the hottest months of the year in Tennessee and droves of Birkenstock (yes I HAD to be cliche) clad daredevils will meander their down to Manchester, TN from June 11th – 14th, 2008. So instead of waiting until prices rise, grab yourself some Bonnarroo tickets before the first round of sales comes to an end!
